University at Canton sophmore forward Rob Liggio has been named ECHL Player of the Week. Liggio had 2 Goals and 5 Assists against RMU during the past weekend helping to give Canton the ECHL championship and a trip to the nationals.
With two wins over RMU over the weekend, Canton has clinched the ECHL League regular season championship with 22 points & 2 games remaining while RMU at 20 has 1 left. Canton gets the auto-bid to the Nationals in Chicago.
